Our all-volunteer staff can’t wait to greet all of our 2025 ambassadors and their families at check-in on Thursday, June 12! Please see below for some additional details. | CHECK IN: | Thursday, June 12 12:30pm–1:30pm Note that the first meal served at HOBY will be dinner around 5:15pm, so please make sure you get something to eat before arrival! |
| FAMILY PROGRAM & CLOSING CEREMONY: | Sunday, June 15 1:30pm–3:00pm Family attendance is strongly encouraged! We will share more details in the coming weeks, but, if you are able, please plan to join us Sunday afternoon in Marietta. |
Helpful Information
- If you haven’t already, please make sure to pay your key deposit to save time at check-in.
- Check out our Seminar FAQs which have more details on the sort of program to expect, accommodations, etc.
- Plugging the address above into a navigation app like Google Maps or Apple Maps usually works just fine, but if you’d like more detailed directions to campus we’ve put those together here.
- Please give our suggested packing list a read. Some highlights:
- Mattresses are provided in the dorms, but you’ll need to pack your own Twin XL or Queen sheets, a blanket, and a pillow
- The dorms and all program spaces are air-conditioned (but we will be outside a lot!)
- You’ll also need to pack a towel and all toiletries
- We will provide HOBY t-shirts to wear Friday and Saturday, but you may want a more fun or stylish outfit for our HOBY Dance Saturday night! Dress code for Sunday is business casual – details are in the packing list!
- If applicable, please bring any prescription medication in its original container as labeled by the pharmacy. Only bring what you will need for the four days on site. Our on-site nurse will collect all prescription medication at check-in and dispense them whenever you need them.
